Louisa Green

Louisa Green

Founder & Director

Originally from Canada, Louisa has over 20 years of teaching experience in Japan — from kindergarten all the way to university level — as well as extensive experience in international schools. She holds a Master's Degree in Educational Technology and a Certificate in Technology-Based Learning from the University of British Columbia.

Specializing in technology-enhanced and project-based learning, Louisa aims to foster a modern learning environment while advocating for inclusivity, environmental awareness, and community building.

Before starting Green Space Kitano's International Saturday School, Louisa taught in various roles at Saint Michael's International Saturday School (SMIS) for ten years. She lives in Kobe's historic Kitano district with her family, including her two daughters and a golden retriever named Mighty Thor.
